Career Experience

I have taught Grades 2-8 in California public schools for 23 years. I have enjoyed time as a reading intervention teacher and beginning teacher support provider. I spent a few years as a curriculum and instruction coach helping teachers improve their practices. I have also coached cheer, volleyball, and basketball. I'm looking forward to tutoring in my retirement from full-time teaching.

I Love Tutoring Because

I get to help students one on one and see the effects immediately as they gain knowledge and understanding.

I speak Spanish but I need help in English for my daughters' taeras. I don't have a lot of time for work and I don't have the money to pay for a tutor for my daughters.
